**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Assist in the planning of menus, considering seasonal availability of ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with inventory management as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service during busy periods.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen protocols.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary skills, and kitchen equipment usage.
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance in the kitchen.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: £11.85-£11.94 per hour
