Due to continued expansion my client has vacancies for a **Mechanical Engineer** at their site in Tilbury. They are particularly keen to hear from ex-military engineers with mechanical engineering bias. The successful **Mechanical Engineer** will work as part of a team on a rotating shift pattern and will carry out the maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment and plant onsite.

**Mechanical Engineer** Requirements:

- Hold Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering as a minimum.
- Experience of working within a heavy industrial environment.
- Able to read and interpret mechanical engineering diagrams.
- Experience of working with cranes - advantageous.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Hold a full clean driving licence.

**Mechanical Engineer** Benefits:

- Salary is £46,809 plus £3,243 shift allowance.
- Overtime available.
- Generous pension scheme.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
