The White Swan In the heart of the historic market town of Alnwick and only a stone’s throw from Alnwick Castle and Gardens, The White Swan is a charming 300 year old coaching inn that blends its unique heritage with superb accommodation and is also host to Weddings, Events and Tour Groups from all around the UK.

**What we are looking for**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team of chefs at The White Swan Hotel, Alnwick part of Classic Lodges Hotel Group. As a Breakfast Cook, you will be responsible for providing the breakfast offering for our guests and visitors. You will also work with the team to help with the preparation of food and running of the kitchen. Some of your duties will include:

- To support the Head Chef in ensuring the efficient, and effective running of the Kitchen.
- To ensure that the preparation and presentation of the food is of a high standard, and complies with food safety regulations.
- Assisting in setting up and preparing the kitchen for daily food service
- Assisting in cold food preparation e.g. washing, peeling, preparing fruit and vegetables
- Maintaining correct stowage, stock rotation of dry, fresh and refrigerated products
- Any other reasonable requests in line with the role

Due to the nature of the role you will be required to work mornings including weekends. This Breakfast Cook role will be based in a busy kitchen environment that will require long periods of standing.

This is a year round Breakfast Cook position and is not just seasonal.

**Rate of Pay: £11.50 per hour.**

**Hours 0600-1400. 5 days out of 7 including weekends**
