Night Receptionist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nights Host to join our Manchester Hotel, The Ainscow

The Ainscow in Salford, Manchester, boasts 85 rooms, spacious Reception and Dining areas with a large car park. Located in Manchester’s most popular destinations, with Spinningfields and Deansgate right on our doorstep.

As Nights Host you will welcome clients and guests ensuring they receive a home from home experience from the moment a reservation is made, during check-in, during their stay and at check-out. Nights Hosts consistently maintain all hotel and guest facilities to the highest of standards.

Main Duties:

- To maintain a high level of awareness of current hotel operations at all times
- To answer telephones promptly and in line with hotel standards to maximise business and minimise guest frustration.
- All telephone enquiries to be conducted efficiently and effectively.
- Maximise hotel revenue e.g. cross selling, secure future bookings.
- To demonstrate a full understanding of Roomzzz Brand standards and all areas of operations throughout the hotel.
- Understand the hotel fire and emergency procedures and to act as a competent person in the event of an emergency.
- To fully understand and comply with the security procedures throughout the hotel.
- To ensure the product quality standards are met in all areas of the hotel, in relation to hotel appearance, levels of maintenance and cleanliness.
- To comply with the processing of cash, cheque and credit card transactions in accordance with the hotel policy and report any discrepancies immediately to Management.
- To demonstrate excellent personal presentation and adhere to the company standards of the Company Grooming policy at all times.
- To demonstrate high attention to detail, assertiveness and a welcoming manner during every task undertaken.
- To have a flexible approach to the hours you are required to work.
- To prepare, present and maintain a light food offering in the evening to guests.
- To prepare, present and maintain a light grab and go Breakfast offering each morning,
- To ensure all compliance paperwork is completed in the required timeframes
- To adhere to all company and statutory health & safety requirements.
- To complete and comply with all kitchen due diligence and paperwork.
- To carry out cleaning tasks as required in front of house and back of house areas.
- To attend any relevant meetings or training courses as requested

Skills & Experience:

- Customer Service and/or Hospitality Experience
- Ability to remain calm during difficult situations or in a very busy environment
- The ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including a pleasant telephone manner
- Good team working skills

**Please note that this role is 19:00-07:00hrs on a 3 day on/ 3 day off rota basis. Weekends and Bank Holidays will be included dependant on the needs of the business.**

Pay: £25,258.00 per hour
