Exciting opportunities have arisen for Care assistants to join Northgate Healthcare, a leading care provider based in Stone, Staffordshire. In return, we offer a competitive pay rate of **£10.65 per hour PLUS a bonus scheme of £1.00 an hour** extra for none contracted sifts. We have full-time positions available, staff work a weekend on - weekend off basis.

Duties will include:

- General support of residents in order to help individuals maintain or achieve independence.
- Participate in the planning of care programs and preparation of care review discussions
- All aspects of the physical care of residents, including where necessary, bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting etc
- Involvement in and promotion of emotional care of the residents
- Involvement in the keyworker system
- Accompanying residents on trips e.g. to hospital, outings, shopping, etc
- Other duties that may be required to promote the comfort, well
- being and self-respect of the residents
- Reporting any incidents of ill-treatment of a resident to the Manager
- Promoting privacy, dignity and independence of all residents within the home
- Attending training sessions and meetings that will assist with the development of care practices

The successful applicants will:

- Be required to undergo a DBS clearance and reference checks
- Must have a caring nature and positive personality
- Have the ability to work as part of a team
