**WE ARE SEEKING A PASSIONATE CANDIDATE WHO**:

- Has the ability and/or experience to teach Design Technology at KS3 and KS4.
- Understand health and safety and COSHH regulations in relation to ensuring safe working practice.
- Can create and maintain a disciplined and stimulating environment in which all students are well motivated and learn.
- Monitors students’ progress and create opportunities for all students to reach their full potential.
- Establishes good working relationships with students and colleagues and with the wider school community.
- Makes excellent and inventive use of available resources to assist in teaching and learning.
- Attends and contributes to departmental meetings and contribute to departmental policies and developments.
- Will assist in the development of the DT curriculum, ensuring the effective use of assessment to drive student progress'.
