ABOUT THE ROLE

Ashgate Hospice supports the people of North Derbyshire and beyond. We aim to provide excellent palliative and end-of-life care and bereavement support. We aspire to be a centre of excellence working as part of the wider health care system with energy, openness and compassion.

At our main hospice site, we provide inpatient bedded care, outpatient services, therapy services, lymphoedema treatment, counselling, spiritual care, and other creative therapies. We also provide care in people’s homes, care homes, and other community settings across the region. We work together with other health and social care teams across Chesterfield, North Derbyshire and the High Peak.

We are currently recruiting to a brand-new role of Nursing Associate to join our award-winning, dedicated nursing team on our 15 bedded specialist palliative care in-patient unit. Our nursing team pride itself on delivering the highest quality, compassionate care and support to our patients, families and carers.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for qualified Nursing Associates to join our nursing team. You will be working alongside dedicated and compassionate individuals who are passionate about providing excellent palliative and end-of-life care.

Applications are encouraged from motivated individuals, and informal chats are welcomed from Nursing Associates who are interested in finding out more.

ABOUT ASHGATE

You will have current NMC registration (Nursing Associate), coupled with the experience of caring for patients at end of life, including relevant clinical skills.
