**Location: Gatwick Airport (South and North Terminal)**

**Pay Rate: £12.20 per hour with shift premium on unsocialable hours.**

**Job Purpose**:
Responsible for providing effective and efficient stock handling to support retail teams to deliver exception sales and customer service

**Key Accountabilities**:

- To ensure deliveries, transfers and returns are processed correctly
- To accurately check deliveries against delivery paperwork
- To safely transport stock
- To ensure that shelves are stocked to merchandising standards
- To participate in planned cleaning routines
- To prevent company property loss
- To maintain high standards within the day-to-day operations including: personal appearance and merchandising
- To comply with all company health and safety and trading standards guidelines
- Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:

- Ability to communicate verbally in English
- Physically fit to handle heavy loads
- Customer focused and able to engage with internal and external customers
- Organised and numerate with analytical skills
- Experience with replenishment and merchandising
- Self-motivated, passionate, enthusiastic and an effective team member
- Excellent time keeping and attendance

**Desirable**:

- Experience in either a retail service or warehouse environment
- Relevant product knowledge
- Manual handling training

**What we need from you**:

- Ability to access the London Gatwick Airport
- Ability to provide a full 5 year background check alongside a criminal record check
- Preferable manual handling experience
- Due to the shift nature of the role all applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to handle alcohol
- Must be over 18 due to the shift nature of the role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.20 per hour

Expected hours: 38.5 per week
