Fast growing e commerce business based in the Manchester area requires a Purchase Ledger Manager. This is a newly created role due to the growth of the business.

This person will manage the purchase ledger function ensuring that timely and accurate financial records are kept. This person will also be responsible for processing payroll for the business.

Reporting to the Head of Finance duties will include;
- Processing supplier invoices accurately
- Checking supplier invoices to ensure we have been correctly billed
- Working with suppliers to make the process flows as smooth as possible for everyone involved
- Ensure suppliers are paid correctly and on time
- Ensure supplier accounts are up to date and costs have been recorded correctly
- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes and other deductions
- Ensure appropriate information is communicated to HMRC, pension provider and other statutory bodies
- Previous experience of purchase ledger and payroll
- Strong attention to detail
- Numerate with strong written communication skills
- Be up to date with HMRC payroll legislation
- Confidence in resolving problems by telephone

Ideally you will have
- Previous management experience
- Experience of dealing with transactions in different currencies.
