We're looking for someone who is interested in undertaking a flexible contract as a **Market Research Assistant**. This would suit a marketing or similar discipline graduate looking for between 4-6 months work during the christmas season.

The role entails providing a detailed analysis of market landscape and sales/marketing opportunities as directed by Head of Marketing, providing detail and critical data to help formulate global marketing and sales strategy.

You'll be able to demonstrate a methodical approach to research, producing accessible and easy to interpret results. You must be able to deliver the results using initiative and working autonomously, coming up with methodology to assess their findings and make strategic recommendations to the company.

You'll be presenting your results to the Vix leadership team so must have good communication and presentation skills.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Building a database of public transport events, associations and memberships, quantifying size, audience, reach, cost, and marketing and sales opportunities.
- Creating a report outlining findings and making recommendations for investment in events, associations and memberships to best meet Vix’s strategic goals.
- Creating a stakeholder map to identify sales opportunities for RTI (real-time information) products in North America.
- Conducting competitor analysis to highlight key strengths and weaknesses and compare competitor product offerings.
- Present back findings and discuss recommendations with stakeholders.

**Ideally, you'll have the following experience**:

- Desk research experience, dataset creation, analysis and report writing capability.
- An ability to work to defined timescales.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and Google Docs.
