At WorkLyf Group we are hiring Packing Operative for a client based in Congleton in the Aerospace industry.

Responsible for the safe and efficient packaging of Manufactured Goods to meet customer specifications. Support of logistics function for the transportation of goods within SABB facility and receipt of Goods in the Factory.

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Packaging of products ready for shipment in accordance with relevant customer packing specifications and/or the Packing Manual, using approved packaging media.

2. Packing in accordance with planned delivery schedules or as the priority order specified by the Logistics Controller.

3. Ensuring product is packed at the required and correct quantity for each shipment.

4. Final checking of product prior to packing to ensure it is free from damage and foreign object inclusions.

5. Printing and attaching product identification labels.

6. Loading and unloading of transport vehicles using safe manual handling techniques or using fork lift truck vehicles where necessary.

7. Ensure that goods are off-loaded, transported, protected, stored, packed and shipped in accordance with Company’s Integrated Management Procedures, to prevent deterioration or damage.

8. Ensure all storage and handling activities are conducted safely.

**ASSOCIATED RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Ensure that all work activities and records comply with Company Policies, Procedures and Codes of Practice.

(Note: In addition to these duties, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required)

Monday to Friday 7 - 3:30 (12:30 finish on Fridays)
