This role provides the administration/clerical function the Vascular Imaging Department and is the first point of contact for patients and visitors who are attending for their Vascular Imaging appointment.

The post holder will be required to work autonomously using their own initiative whilst adhering to operational and Trust Policies and Procedures as well as established practices. This includes referring to the supervisors when guidance is required.

The post holder will be required to work as part of team to deliver a first-class service to patients and users of the Vascular Imaging Service. This will involve actively supporting and contributing to the requirements of the service and utilizing designated operational practices within the specific Vascular systems and trust’s systems such as GCIS/ICS etc.

To be responsible for managing the booking processes of all vascular imaging appointments.

To cover other administrative areas when required - these are Reception, Scheduling, Outpatient clinics, all based within the same unit.
