Including above the newly introduced Living wage. **Company Benefits and Offer**: - Attractive pay **£12.00 - £13.00** per hour equivalent to **£24,000 - £27,040** Full Time Equivalent - Top rates of pay in your local area - **Guaranteed hours from the start of your employment**: - **Guaranteed income / guaranteed hours available**: - 28 days annual leave a year (inclusive of Bank Holidays), rising with service - Fully **paid** induction and shadow training - Ongoing training and career development paid for by Company - Lots of opportunity to progress and personal development - **Free **enhanced DBS check - **Free** uniform & PPE - **Plenty of Overtime** available - Annual salary reviews and performance bonus - Refer a Friends Scheme (£200 up for grabs T's & Cs apply)* **Job Requirements**: - A **valid UK driving license** and use of personal vehicle for work purposes - To be 18 and over - Previous experience in the care industry is not essential as full training will be provided. - To want to provide a high quality of care and support to vulnerable people - Exceptional listening and communication skills - To possess an empathetic approach - To be willing to provide personal care - A proactive approach to work and be able to work on your own initiative to be able to work flexibly depending on the needs of the work environment - To have a passion to make a positive difference to people’s lives; being considerate and supportive is a must **About the role**: - To provide personal care tasks and support to Clients with a wide range of needs, illnesses, and disabilities. - To know and understand the care and support of the Client. - To assist Clients with their medication at the agreed level of support and as detailed in their Medication Care Needs. - To prepare food and drink for the Client, being aware of the Client’s choice, likes/dislikes, - Nutritional needs, and cultural requirements. - To use manual handling equipment safely and correctly. - To maintain good communication and develop effective working relationships with Clients. - To ensure as safe as possible the living environment for the Client, whilst respecting the client’s choice and rights. - To maintain detailed accurate records in respect of care and medication support given and tasks undertaken. - To dress appropriately, wearing uniform and using personal protective equipment provided by Prime Care Domiciliary. **Other tasks you may take on, on a daily basis** General day to day activities, such as light cleaning, helping with the laundry, cooking, and serving meals. providing our clients with the upmost best personal care as well as always supporting and protecting their dignity.
