Therapeutic Support Worker Responsibilities:

- Creating a caring and stimulating environment tailored to the developmental needs of young people.
- Planning and facilitating activities to promote learning and integration within the home.
- Monitoring and documenting young people's progress, achievements, and significant life events.
- Collaborating with local authorities/placing authorities to deliver exceptional care.
- Building positive relationships with parents/carers to support the development of young individuals.

Therapeutic Support Worker Requirements:

- Valid Driver's License: Due to the rural locations of our homes, a valid driver's license is essential for this role.
- Passion and Energy: We're seeking individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and bring energy and enthusiasm to their work every day.
- While not mandatory, having an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care would be advantageous.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with young people, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing situations and work schedules, as well as being flexible in your approach to tasks and responsibilities, is crucial for success in this role.
