**Potential 32K including weekly bonus and additional weekend working to push OTE higher.**

Tytherington quarry are looking for an FEL operator to join the operational team.

Day time operations run between 06.00-16.30 and night time rail loading occurs between 18.00-06.00.

**Purpose of / Responsibilities of the role**

Operation of mobile plant (FEL) for tasks including loading trains, road wagons and dumpers, site clean-up and management along with moving stock for operation for sales and mineral movement - as required by site management.

To operate mobile plant in a safe and efficient manner

To maintain where required mobile plant in a good order physically with re-fuelling, greasing, cleaning in accordance with the manufacturers and Hanson recommendations.

To complete daily inspection sheets of the conditions of static & mobile plant.

To report problems or defects of static & mobile plant to the site supervisor.

**Skills / Experience**

Good general education required, and large amount of health and safety regulations and Quarry Regulations are required to be understood and carried out.

Certification by MPQC/CPCS for mobile plant operation.

NVQ level 2 in mobile plant operations required following EPIC completion.

Wheeled Loading Shovel required and Articulated Dumper ticket desirable

Experience of loading trains would be beneficial.

Tytherington Quarry is a 1.8 million tons per year Carboniferous Limestone quarry, situated in South Gloucestershire.

This quarry services the local external market including concrete and asphalt plants, alongside our own internal plants.

Tytherington Quarry is also servicing part of the HS2 contract supplying material by rail to external customers and internal rail depots.

**Salary**: £32,000.00 per year
