Saw Operator

Our manufacturing client based in the Stourbridge area is looking for a Saw Operator
who is ambitious and willing to develop their skills and career. This role can be repetitive but rewarding with the potential to develop and progress within the company. This is a fulltime position working Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Review works order and instructions received from the MSS’s to understand what is required.
- Ensure that checks of production are carried out to a standard and a frequency as agreed with the MSS.
- Upon completion of Works Order, record the operation as being completed on APS and move the work to the next location as identified on the Works Order.
- To ensure this job is carried out safely and responsibly, always adhering to the Companies Health & Safety policy.
- Demonstrate the ability to plan and prioritise workload to meet required deadlines and performance standards.
- Previously worked with Milling Machines, Capstan/Lathes and pillar drills.

**Working hours**: Monday - Thursday, 7am - 4.30pm and Friday 7am - 11.00am

**Pay**: £9.90 - £11.00 per hour depending on experience
