Greenkeeping Assistant

_**We are recruiting an Assistant Greenkeeper, ideally suited for someone at the start of their Greenkeeping career or wishing to have a career within the sports turf industry.**_

Set within 250 acres of uniquely beautiful countryside, and part of the historic Hever Castle Estate, the Golf Club has 27 holes of golf that will encourage and inspire all golf enthusiasts.

**Overview of Role**

You must enjoy working as part of a team, supporting colleagues as they will you, have strong communication skills and a level of fitness that enables you to work outside and be mobile for large parts of the day.

A flexible approach to work, as early starts and weekend work is required, the semi-rural nature of the location makes owning a carer advantageous.
- Ensuring that the course and wider estate grounds are presented in the best possible condition.
- Sufficient work experience to operate common turf maintenance machinery and hand-held tools, training is provided.
- To use machinery in compliance with health and safety regulations and guidance.
- Have pride in your work and eye for detail.
- Flexibility to work weekends as part of a rota.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
