**Lettings Assistant**

Here at Whitegates we are looking for an additional team member in the role of Lettings Assistant.

Based in our Brymbo office in Wrexham, as a key member of our team you will be responsible for the following:

- Providing an excellent standard of customer service and building relationships with landlords and tenants.
- Managing routine maintenance issues.
- Acting as liaison between landlords, tenants and contractors.
- Arranging appropriate quotations, ensuring landlords' approval is received.
- Ensuring regular mid-term visits are arranged.
- Submitting maintenance reports to landlords and following up any identified issues.
- Negotiate end of tenancy deposit releases.
- Ensure safety compliance and housing legislation is adhered to at all times.
- Issuing end of tenancy notices under landlord instructions.
- Arranging and executing tenancy renewals.
- Managing tenant arrears when necessary.
- Uploading invoices to the in-house system.
- Actively marketing the rental services to grow the lettings portfolio.
- Other tasks depending on the business need.

This is very much a role that blends administration along with customer service. If you are a great administrator with good customer servcie skills and some estate agency experience then we'd love to hear from you.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Saturdays on a rota basis with a day off in the week when working Saturday

Skills and experience:

- Experience in the lettings industry is highly desired
- Rent Smart Wales registration and training is highly desired but not essential as this will be provided during training
- An ability to organise and multitask
- A confident manner
- Ability to provide excellent customer service over the phone and face to face
- Knowledge of Reapit (RPS) & Fixflo software is advantageous

This is an office based role.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£21,100.00 per year
