**Key role and responsibilities**:

- Responsibility for the creation and management of the rotas for clients and carers on a weekly basis.
- Liaise with clients, families and professionals to manage care needs & staff deployment.
- Managing annual leave, sickness and carer availability to ensure continuity of care for clients.
- Overseeing client capacity and ensuring runs remain efficient
- Provide the highest standards of care and continuity of care to clients at all times through the development of care plans and completion of audits to remain compliant
- Supporting with the administration and onboarding process for new care professionals
- Provide the highest standards of support to the care team at all times.
- Ensure that staff files are up-to-date and comply with company procedures.
- Office administrative tasks and updating office recording systems.
- Ensure that stocks are maintained in a safe and tidy manner and reorder as required.
- Supporting with care enquiries and client onboarding
- As requested, conduct staff supervisions, appraisal meetings and manage issues.
- As requested, recruit, support & train carers to enable them to undertake their role safely and effectively
- At all times, work to the company's core values, policies and standards at all times.
- To be available to work when requested by the care manager to cover care calls
- Work with the care team to ensure the best outcomes for clients at all times.
- To provide cover during any absence of the care manager & other office staff.
- To respect and protect all confidential and commercially sensitive information.
- Practice maximum integrity in all dealings with Clients' personal and financial affairs.
- Understand and implement the requirements of the company’s adult protection policies, including the suspension of staff from duties. Understand and implement the company’s emergency situation procedures.
- Participate in the on call rota to provide support to carers and clients at times when the office is closed on evenings and weekends.
- Hold an understanding of CQC and practices

Working as part of a team you’ll be responsible for the daily operations of our care service in York. From managing care needs with clients and their families to supporting a team of care professionals, from setting and managing rotas to keeping essential records up-to-date no two days are ever the same.

You’re someone who loves working with people, organisation and getting things done, in an environment that’s busy and fluid. You’ll need to have some previous experience providing personal care and working for a home care agency. You’ll also need a UK driver’s licence, be over the age of 18 and have access to a vehicle.
