**About the Role**:
Haverhill Family Practice are looking to welcome a workflow administrator to their team on a part-time basis for 20 hours per week.

Reporting to the senior administrator, this key role will ensure that all incoming and internal patient correspondence is stored on/in the patients medical record and relevant information is coded.

Other duties will include;
- Locate documents as needed by the clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Scan documents for the prescriptions and clinical teams.
- Add any additional information about the source of the document.
- Forward the document to the doctor or nurse who initiated the referral or who is most appropriate to receive the information.
- Ensure incoming letters are scanned onto the patient record within a 48/72-hour timescale.
- Scan all internal paper documents on to the relevant patients’ record and then store the documents in line with surgery procedures.
- Sort and date stamp all incoming patient-related mail.
- Carry out any administrative related tasks as delegated by the doctors and non
- clinical staff.

- GCSEs at Grade C or equivalent (4-9) including English and Maths.
- Able to work effectively, independently and as a member of a team.
- Flexible approach to meet service needs.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Able to undertake the demands of the post with reasonable adjustments if required.
- Experience of scanning/clinical coding in a healthcare setting an advantage.
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent understanding of data protection and confidentiality.
