We are seeking an Stock Administrator for a busy and exciting company in Redditch. As part of the production team, you will support the team with the ordering of Furniture and Pictures ensuring the installation of our projects run smoothly. The abilityto understand the importance and logistics of stock control is essential. Our client is a friendly family run business who rewards hard work, commitment, and initiative.
Administrator/ Stock Controller Key duties will include:

- ensuring all purchase orders are actioned and information updated on the automated system
- checking and updating stock information and remaining aware of stock rotation
- managing annual stock take and producing reconciliations
- preparation of monthly and annual stock reports for inclusion in financial statements
- liaising with suppliers to ensure delivery of items
- organising collections and liaising with couriers
- to monitor and notify colleagues of any issues that would affect the timing of the installation
- general enquiry handling
- covering for other departments as necessary
Administrator/ Stock Controller Key skills/ experience required:

- stock control experience - the ability to understand the importance of the timing of deliveries,
- self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- good communication skills, verbal and written
- good IT skills, Microsoft office and the ability to pick up new systems quickly and effectively
- being able to communicate comfortably at all levels of the organisation
- able to work under pressure, to work to deadlines and prioritise a busy workload

In return you can expect to receive a basic salary of between £23000 -£25000. The hours of work at 8.30-5pm with a 30 minute lunch and there is free parking on site.
