**Business Contribution**:
Qualified to carry out a minimum of 4 competency training modules in line with company and awarding body processes and procedures across the ESSAI region.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Takes responsibility for the administration, coordination and organisation of training and assessments.
- Delivers training and assessment at company academy locations and customer sites within the ESSAI region and other international locations where required.
- Records and uploads all training and assessment evidence to the company and awarding body training management systems in a timely manner and ensures the prompt issue of certification to internal and external delegates.
- Reviews and acts upon expiry reports from company and awarding body training management systems in order to effectively plan training and assessment.
- Develops procedures, training/assessment programs and performs reviews of such documents on a regular basis.
- Maintains all training equipment to include classrooms, practical training areas, tools, and rigs, ensuring it is safe, always fit for purpose and calibrated where applicable.
- Takes responsibility for the selection and ordering of tools and consumables to support the delivery of training and assessment.
- Presents ideas for process improvement, different methods of training delivery and digital transformation.
- Provides administrative cover for the Training Coordinator in periods of absence/leave along with the provision of quotations and maintaining a quick customer response time.
- Meets deadlines for the completion of corporate compliance training requirements and annual performance reviews.
- Maintains a personnel record of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for awarding body audit purposes on an annual basis.
- Maintains all internal and external Train the Trainer (TTT) qualifications including meeting re-assessment deadlines.
- Contributes and assists with internal and external awarding body audits.
**Required Capabilities**:
- Must be qualified to deliver a minimum of 4 competency modules from the list provided overleaf, with the occupational experience, ability, and credibility to provide training/assessment relevant to the training units contained within these competency modules.
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office to include the use of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Mandatory competency modules relevant to the Machining Trainer role.
**Level 1 Bolted Joint Integrity**
- **Hand Torque** Techniques**
- Disassembly, inspection, assembly and tightening of bolted flange assemblies and clamp connectors using hand torque equipment.
- **Hydraulic Torque** **Techniques**
- Disassembly, inspection, assembly and tightening of bolted flange assemblies and clamp connectors using hydraulic torque equipment.
- **Bolt** Tension**ing **Techniques**
- Disassembly, inspection, assembly and tightening of bolted flange assemblies using hydraulic bolt tensioning equipment.
- **Flange Spreader**
- Disassembly of bolted connections using hydraulic flange spreaders.
- **Nut Splitter**
- Disassembly of bolted connections using hydraulic nut splitters.
**Level 1 On-Site Machining**
- **Basic Pipe Cut**ting** and **End Prepping**
- Pipe cutting, end prepping and counter boring up to 2” (50mm) wall thickness, using internal and external mount tools.
- **Basic Flange Facing**
- **Basic Drilling**
- Up to 3” diameter all depths using portable drilling tools.
**Level 2 On-Site Machining**
- **Advanced Pipe Cut**ting, End Prepping** and Weld **Excavation**
- Pipe cutting, end prepping, counter boring and weld excavation using internal and external mount tools.
- **Advanced Drilling**
- Drilling and tapping of holes including stud removal by thread picking methods in turbines, heat exchangers and general pipework using portable drilling tools.
**Level 3 On-Site Machining**
- **Advanced **Joint** Facing**
- Joint face machining of Ring Type Joints (RTJ) and clamp connector hubs using internal and external mount tools.
- **Exchanger Facing**
- Joint face machining of heat exchanger shells, channel covers, channel ends, tube sheets and floating heads using internal and external mount tools.
- **Milling**
- Milling of pump beds and heat exchanger pass partition bars on channel covers, channel ends and tube sheets using portable milling tools.
