Role & Responsibilities:
*Required to do both Electrical Panel design and PLC Programming
*Meetings with design team to propose new/revise designs
*Prepare drawings, specifications and design documents
*Review and update designs to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety
*Use engineering base software to create CAD drawings
*Liaise with sub-contractors in the UK and overseas
*Using Siemens TIA Portal and S7 1200 series PLC.
*Interfacing with Profinet and I/O link ready components and sensors
*Program revision
*Version and document control of programs
*Advise the manufacturing and commissioning teams during build and installation of projects
*Using remote access to PLCs/HMIs to provide diagnostics to engineers/customers
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Required:
*HND in engineering
*Siemens TIA Portal experience
Desirable:
*Allen Bradley experience
*Pneumatics, electric motors & control systems
*5 years experience with PLC programming
*Machine building experience
Package and Benefits:

- £35,000 - £40,000
- 22 days + Bank holidays, annual increase with service up to 27 days
