**Full time, 37.5 hours/ week (0900 - 1700 but flexibility is required, depending on service expectations)**

We’re looking for a Bookings Administrator to join our Scheduling department based at The Princess Grace Hospital. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the patient diagnostic journey throughout the GI department at the London Digestive Centre, ensuring patients are booked and pre-registered for the relevant appointment in a timely manner. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing a first-class service to all stakeholders.

**What you’ll do**:

- Welcome patients into the department as an initial point of contact
- scheduling all diagnostics into the treatment rooms, coordinating with consultant availability and responding to all queries in an efficient and timely manner
- Receive, log and track all Neuro-gastroenterology and Upper GI diagnostic referrals
- Regularly review all patient information documents and work with consultants and nurses to ensure the information is accurate
- Manage and resolve all patient and consultant enquiries effectively and professionally
- Manage the departmental reports, ensuring the diagnostic consultant reports their tests correctly, and the referring consultants receive their reports in a timely manner
- Handle all telephone enquiries from patients, consultants and medical secretaries
- Maintain agreed stock levels of office consumables
- Maintain a clean environment in the waiting room areas, help to maintain clean changing rooms and provide patients with instructions on where to change
- Perform ad hoc duties/projects as directed by the Line Manager

**What you’ll bring**:

- Prior scheduling experience within a hospital setting is essential
- Intermediate to Advanced IT skills and experience
- Strong verbal, written, numerical and communication skills
- Liaising with hospital departments to organise consultant sessions, patient procedures
