**Sales Administrator**

**Salary: £20 000 - £23 000 per annum**
(Dependant on Experience and Skills)
**37.5 hours per week**
**Monday to Friday**

**Job Purpose**

To provide administrative support to the Sales Team and to generally contribute to the smooth running of the office. To learn the company’s sales processes and develop within the team with an opportunity for progression into a sales role.

**Principle Duties & Accountabilities**

The specific accountabilities of this flexible role may alter from time to time in order to meet the needs of the company, but accountabilities will include (or be equivalent in nature to) those listed below:

- General support such as answering the phone, taking details of enquiries and filing
- Learning our product base sufficiently to answer customer queries
- Assisting the Sales department with administrative duties such as entering new prospect clients, quotations and purchase orders into the company’s electronic system, sourcing product and transport rates from suppliers
- Assisting in the performance of the contract administration process by managing the associated documentation
- Ordering materials as required and raising the associated purchase orders to ensure each job is invoiced accordingly
- Updating data on spreadsheets
- Working with our hire & sales electronic systems
- Communicating with suppliers, clients and subcontractors regarding queries and requests
- Documenting significant events, including logging complaints
- Maintaining appropriate records
- Liaising with other departments on any issues arising

**Level of Knowledge & Experience**
- Experience of working in an office environment essential
- Experience of computerised systems desirable
- MS Office experience is essential
- Previous exposure to construction industry desirable
