BDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Lettings Officer role on a full-time basis, working from home with travel to services in and around the Kirklees and Sheffield area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintain and manage information systems to ensure all contracts, agreements and data is accurate and up to date.
- Assisting with payments of rent and other charges when tenants sign up, assisting customers having difficulties with rent payments and other debts.
- Ensure new clients understand the responsibilities of their tenancy/license before they sign it.
- Work with property services, lettings and partner agencies to ensure vacant properties are let promptly.
- Be the key contact for partner organisations, dealing with day-to-day enquiries, building positive working relationships.

Criteria
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
- Former Housing experience is essential including tenancy management, rent arrears, and managing tenant expectations.

This is initially a fixed term contract for 6 months and the rate of pay is £13.73 PAYE plus holiday pay or 17.03 UMB

Mileage is paid at 45p per mile
