**Position Overview**
This role is a key element of RGA’s activities in the longevity space - one of the organization’s top growth areas globally. By developing and expanding expertise in the areas of longevity research, mortality and improvement trends, data analytics, longevity product development and management, longevity reinsurance and the pension de-risking market. This role is part of the global Longevity Product function within the Global Financial Solutions (GFS) team. This role has a global remit and will be expected to work closely across many levels within GFS in multiple geographies, local teams, and local and global research teams. We support hybrid and flexible ways of working and would welcome a discussion on how we can balance what is important to you with business requirements during the recruitment process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the derivation of longevity pricing bases to support RGA’s efforts in the pension and annuity market;
- Develop and expand GFS’ expertise in the areas of longevity research and bases in multiple geographies, keeping an active interest in emerging trends and ideas on longevity and mortality models and thoughts from other internal teams, the wider industry and actuarial bodies;
- Take an active role in the Longevity Product team’s efforts in expanding GFS’ longevity product offer - geographically or through the development of new product structures - Support the management of the longevity pricing methodology, working closely with regional and local pricing teams and ensure the pricing framework for longevity is robust, efficient and conducive to new business;
- Take a leading role in the understanding of biometric and longevity risks and supporting the Longevity Analytics efforts around data and data analytics;
- Supply the Pricing team with valuable knowledge, expertise and insights on longevity research and basis; and proactively support their efforts for adopting robust demographic assumptions in quotes;
- Support the Business Development team with their efforts to develop the pension and annuity market, and supply the Business Development team with valuable knowledge, expertise and insights on longevity research and basis;
- Perform peer review on the work produced by the Longevity Product team or Pricing teams;
- Support other internal stakeholders with an interest in longevity research, including the valuation or capital teams;
- Lead/assist special projects around the longevity product, and research development as required;
