Jollyes Middlewich Driver

We are looking for a Class 1 driver to join our team at Wincanton in Middlewich for the Jollyes contract on the day shift. As a class 1 driver you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of small to large high-value consignments that require special handling conditions.

This role includes manual pump truck work, of pallets up to 1250kg

**Day to Day**
- Delivery of small to large high-value consignments that require manual pump truck handling, using tail lift trailers
- Consistently ensure customer expectations are met
- Ensure all documentation is completed and returned accurately at the end of each shift
- Adhere to specific time restrictions given under current legislation
- Adhere to legislative regulations and company policiesDriving activities will generally consist of store deliveries and supplier collections around the UK

**What will you bring?**
- Must have a valid Class 1 licence
- Full DCPC Qualification
- Strong communication skills, to develop good working relationships with colleagues and customers
- A responsible and reliable attitude
- Experience of multi drop collection and deliveries, although full training will be provided
- The ability to safely move heavy pallets, using a manual pump truck
- A flexible, ‘can do’ attitude as start and finish times may vary in line with WTD and EU Drivers Hours Regulations
- A reasonable amount of overtime will be expected
- Nights out required in line with operational needs.
- Good geographical knowledgeValid and in date passport, RTW, kept up to date for business needs.
