Procurement Assistant

**Role Purpose**
Administrative and support activities to keep the Procurement function of the business running efficiently whilst delivering great commercial returns and excellent service to our customers.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Ø Provide administrative support for all aspects of procurement
Ø Assist with a wide variety of internal queries from across the business
Ø Placing orders whilst keeping all MRP (Winman) PO delivery dates and data up to date
Ø Investigate and complete short-shipped POs
Ø Ensuring all relevant files and documentation are effectively stored
Ø Liaise with Finance to resolve invoice queries
Ø Item code set up
Ø Supporting the inputting and management of item and supplier data
Ø Assist in managing supplier relationships
Ø Assist in writing procedures (e.g.: “How to” guides, Winman “step-by-steps”) / on the Teams’ Wiki
Ø Support import process including liaison with freight forwarding services when the Import/Export Coordinator is not available
Ø Identify areas for continuous improvement of internal processes, to increase efficiency and cost savings
Ø The above list of responsibilities is not exhaustive, and you may be required to carry out other duties within the scope of the job, as well as reasonable requests from a manager.

- Previous experience in a purchasing, supply chain or procurement role (2 years minimum)
- Experience of using ERP/MRP systems (e.g.: Winman) (D)
