The Event Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing some of the UK’s greatest events including; Carfest South, Bournemouth 7s, Pub in the Park Series, Brighton Pride & Boomtown to name a few The position will oversee the entire event side of the business, primarily focusing on building relationships with new customers, maintaining existing relationships, and retaining annual large events.

The Event Operations Supervisor will be forward-thinking and commercially savvy, with good management skills, not daunted by the potentially long, unsociable hours the events industry demands during peak times.

**The Role**
- Manage and motivate outdoor event staff to ensure contracts are delivered on time and at a high standard.
- Project manage medium events and support event operation managers on large events on the ground.
- Being able to be ‘Hands On’ when onsite with regards to setting up and managing the sanitation at large outdoor events.
- Quality assurance of all equipment hired: ensuring delivery and collection, a high standard of cleanliness, and excellent working order.
- Managing weekend staff, and assigning shifts
- Support the Transport and Operation Manager with pre-event planning, on-site logistics, and site breakdowns.
- Being on call on an out-of-hours rota to deal with queries regarding events.
- Technically being able to solve mechanical problems regarding our equipment whilst on site.
- Liaising with clients and via the office to ensure our events are organised perfectly in advance.

**Experience and Expertise**
- Experience in managing a team
- Event Health and Safety Compliance
- Hands-on style and willingness to teach, train and observe all members of staff
- Strong MS Office skills
- Experience in budget management and commercial sales experience.
- Good local area knowledge

You will be reporting directly to the Event Operation Manager.
