The role of the Nursery Manager is to provide professional leadership and management of the nursery. To effectively manage the day-to-day running of the nursery and to deliver the highest standards of care and education. Experience of working in and managingan Early Years setting is essential.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

- To deliver and ensure a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years.

To manage the day to day activities of the setting.

To ensure that the nursery is a safe environment for children, staff and others.

To develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child’s development.

To manage other staff within the nursery

To have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

To work with the Directors and Management team effectively at all times

To ensure company Policies and Procedures are adhered to at all times, ensuring compliance and guidelines laid down by Ofsted are kept

To lead positive relationships in the early years setting

To provide supervision, leadership, and mentoring to the teaching team
