**Senior Planning Analyst**

**Ansty Based**

**£30,962 - £36,426**

As a Senior planning Analyst, you will be part of a high performing, customer focused operational team, collaborating with planners to support the delivery of Network plans. You will be able to interpret technical and data issues to identify process improvements,creating standard operating procedures while considering the impact to the end to end process throughout.You will hold the ability and determination to meet stakeholder expectations and you will work to build strong relationships to proactively deliver excellentcustomer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key accountabilities will also include:
You will be part of an Area level Operational team, with primary responsibilities being to:

- Convert the strategic workload plan into a meaningful long-term cycle plan (18 months down to 1 month) that delivers for our customers and Cadent.
- Own the ‘Area’ level delivery plan for the year and engage with work stack owners to ensure timely and quality handover of work.
- Understand the financial implications of the plan and take actions which will improve the area and networks performance.
- Create progress reports that track completion of mandated programs and undertake required analytics to support scenario optioneering and recovery plans where required.
- Provide ongoing management/maintenance of the work plan through to delivery and close out.
- Co-ordinate a short-term planning cycle that delivers both long term ambitions and meets regulatory targets.
- Create a balanced plan across all work types
- Gather, extract, and analyse data from multiple work management sources to track work completions, understand trend analysis and create performance management metrics.
- Create work packs enabling the field force to deliver a ‘right first time’ approach.
- Engage with local customers where required in order to create plans that deliver excellent customer experience.
- Ensure that all pre-requisites are in place prior to the plan being handed over. This would include ensuring complex work is surveyed and agreed, relevant permitry is in place and any specialist equipment is available.
- Ensure any post work activities are planned in and carried out
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of ‘on day’ actuals to understand variances and participate in development of solutions.
- Engage with work stack owners to ensure work is completed effectively.
- Develop and document standard working methods for short cycle planning and scheduling of work.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Prior experience of developing and documenting business processes is desirable.
- Prior experience of SAP / ClickSoftware (or similar scheduling solution) is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of working in a ‘fast-pace’ environment**.**
