An exciting opportunity has become available to work within our new, specialist mental health service in Eastbourne.

Venture-People offer support and housing solutions to individuals with a mental health need, maximizing their independence with the right support at the right time. We work in a person-centred and recovery focused approach, steeped in therapeutic optimism.

We are looking for Waking Night Project Workers who will make up a growing team within our East Sussex Team.

The role of Waking Night Project Worker is based at our Eastbourne service within East Sussex. The service offers accommodation, with and enhanced level of support, to individuals who are experiencing a mental health condition and/or autism spectrum disorder and/or learning disability. We recognize that when a person may be experiencing a time of difficulty it is important to offer flexibility, dedication and compassion; therefore, these are the traits that we look for in members of our team.

**Qualifications and Skills**

You should have an enthusiasm and interest in working within the mental health sector with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a willingness to go the extra mile. You should have a flexible approach that respects individual differences with an ability to work as part of a team as well as independently, using your initiative.
