Principal Procurement Officer

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead teams to develop new contracts and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Advise senior managers on procurement matters.
- Promote self-service procurement through training, coaching, and written guidance.
- Utilize e-tendering systems (specifically ProActis) to maximize their functionality and use.
- Collaborate with suppliers to establish mutually beneficial relationships.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or related field.
- At least five years of experience in a procurement role, preferably in a public sector organization.
- Advanced knowledge of e-tendering systems, specifically ProActis.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.

**Salary**: £48,562.00 per year
