Davies Veterinary Specialists have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated patient care assistant to join their team. In this role you will have the opporutunity to work with a supportive team and to deliver truly outstanding care. We are looking for a driven, determined and someone who loves hands-on nursing.
You’ll have the opportunity to nurse at the highest level, developing your skills and working on an interesting and varied caseload with a team of veterinary specialists who are second to none. Every day is different from the last, with unique challenges offering a constant opportunity to learn and progress.
The role of a Patient Care Assistant is to support the nursing and wider practice team in achieving the highest standards of care, the role is a vital part of the patient experience. The Patient Care Assistant role will involve working in a variety of areas within the practice to support the team. It will be necessary to accept instruction from a variety of people including Management, Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses.
There is opportunity to progress within this role you will be supported to build upon your existing skills through a comprehensive induction and by completing the Linnaeus Patient Care Assistant course.
This is a full-time permanent role working 40h per week.
