Security Officer

We are looking for a Security Officer to join us at our client site in Basingstoke, as part of our fantastic on site security team. Our client a trusted leader in digital payments offer a smart and innovative workplace for you to work in. You will be operating as part of a global team and based out of a technologically advanced control room, where you will need to monitor and operate a variety of integrated PC based security & CCTV systems making good computer skills an essential part of this role accurately and efficiently.

You will provide front of house reception support, meet & greet visitors and interact with colleagues and staff at all levels both verbally and in writing.

**A typical day in the life as a Security Officer**
- Alarm and CCTV monitoring and response, monitoring process using both the C Cure and Genetic security systems are always monitored.
- Front of house support dealing with customers, visitors and contractors, escorting them around the premises as and when required.
- Interpret and follow a wide range of prescribed processes and procedures relating to the security of the facility, involving the production of accurate and detailed reports
- To assist with the training of any new employee is as directed by the shift supervisors and the site manager.

**What are we looking for?**
- SIA Licence
- Experience in a security environment is beneficial but not essential, we are willing to put the time and resource into someone who may be recently licensed to give you the first step you might need.
