Evolve are recruiting for an experienced Healthcare Technician to join the UK’s top rated eye hospital in providing outstanding eye health care for their patients. As part of this role, you’ll work alongside clinical colleagues and optometrists deliveringdiagnostics, pre assessment and post operative ophthalmic care and treatment.

This role is based in Hampshire working full time, with a variety of fantastic benefits on offer

**Ideal Requirements**
- Experience of working as an HCT/HCA in a hospital ward or theatre environment, particularly in Ophthalmology.
- Will also consider people who have experience of working within the optical industry or a high street Opticians.
- Basic Life Support competent.
- Highly organised, with clear forward planning and ability to flex according to customer needs.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Hold accountability for the delivery of high-quality patient care throughout their visit.
- Work closely with clinical patient services staff to ensure the smooth running of operating lists.
- Completing diagnostic testing on patients in clinic, including Biometry, OCT, A-Scan, Visual fields, Pentacam, VA, IOP, Topography.
- Actively support and assist patients on surgery days ensuring effective communication.
- Handling patient enquiries effectively, by means of referral to a medical practitioner if necessary and providing service excellence.
- Provide basic advice on health promotion, with reference to Ophthalmic surgery.
- Support the whole patient pathway including working in the operating theatre.
