**More About The Role**

We are a large distribution company based in Preston with our own in-house and on-site printing department and we are looking for an Apprentice Flexographic Printer with an eagerness to learn and keen attention to detail to work alongside a small but experienced team who take pride in their work and the products that they produce.

Full training is provided with our fully funded apprenticeships after which you will be a fully qualified Flexographic Printer. As an Apprentice Flexographic Printer you can be expected to
- Complete NVQ Level 3 in Machine Printing
- Monitor and control printing press to obtain maximum quality
- Set and mount plates, set gears and print cylinders, set print dies
- Complete job ticket documentation
- Work well within a team to meet short deadlines
- Ensure machines are maintained to a good working order
- Report any issues to line management
- Adhere to correct Health and Safety procedures

**A Few Things About You**
- We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, with the ability to work in a fast pace environment and maintain high levels or accuracy at all times
- GCSE 4-9 or equivalent required in Maths and English
- A willingness to learn about all aspects of Flexographic Printing
- You will possess a good attention to detail and have an ability to be
- self-motivated and organised
- You will have a pro-active, positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as in a team
- You will be required to maintain good attendance and time keeping
