**More about your role**

We are looking a Cleaning Operative Based at **York University**, you will carry out a high-quality cleaning service of this prestigious site. Working as part of a facilities team you will have responsibility for cleaning shared & flat kitchens,communal areas, shared bathrooms etc. and over all ensuring our fab facilities are maintained to the highest standards

When students leave for holidays you will carry out deep cleans of these areas and vacated student bedrooms, this role may include traveling to different schemes in the high season.

This role offers you the opportunity to join a bustling team where every day is different, you will closely with our staff and residents and join a friendly working environment. You will hold an NVQ in cleaning and be aware of COSHH regulations, ensuringto always keep yourself and others around you safe

Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role, attention to detail is a must We take pride in our work, and we are looking for colleagues who share this same value

We love to invest in our people; therefore the successful job holders will have the opportunity to go undergo training within the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSs).

This role requires a basic DBS check
