Greenwich has a bustling, village-like vibe, with plenty of shops, restaurants and markets and fast access to the city. **What will set you apart?** - Travel experience (either personal or professional) within Europe and/or other key destinations - Industry experience: Experience from a similar role, or within tour operations/coordination - Negotiation skills - experience in negotiating preferential terms and conditions that are mutually beneficial and financially favourable is desirable - Ability to work well under pressure and make calm and informed decisions - Excellent communication & relationship building skills - Proven track record of managing suppliers - Above average problem solving skills - Self motivated and a team player - Speaking a European language in addition to English (Italian, German, Spanish Slavic, French) **What you will do** The successful SAM will regularly connect with our suppliers (hotels, activities, restaurant partners) to ensure that we have a fantastic work relationship with them. They will be able to name their pets and wish their children a happy birthday as one of ourcore values is "family style hosting". Their unique ability to foster relationships and ultimately build trust will be what sets us apart as a tour operator. We believe that great relationships is the key to solving and even preventing problems that mighthappen on the road. **Your day to day role**: The primary duty of the Supplier Account Manager (SAM) is to effectively manage a set group of suppliers within a set region or regions ensuring supplier standards are maintained, and constantly seek to improve the experiences through active management.They are responsible for all day-to-day communications with their suppliers including sending booking updates, rooming lists, feedback, updating booking systems, managing booking allocations according to contracted terms and conditions, ensuring timely supplierpayments in coordination with the Accounts Department, as well as dealing with ad-hoc issues or requests. Responsibilities might also include some procurement tasks as required under the direction of the Procurement Manager. They are required to be proactive in developing professional supplier relationships, and will be expected to travel to locations within their regions, or locally within the UK, to attend meetings and/or industry events. The SAM will also be required to assist with any ad-hoc supplier issues/complaints as necessary, including assisting the RTT team in urgent situations that may arise inside or outside of working hours **What we offer** What we offer is the opportunity to be part of a fun but focused Operations team within an amazing work family.
