Esol Tutor

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an ESOL Tutor. We are an Ofsted Outstanding provider offering a variety of education options to young people.

As an ESOL Tutor you will be supporting students aged 16-18 achieve their ESOL qualification. We are looking for a Functional Skills Tutor who can motivate and inspire our students to achieve their full potential whilst on our programme.

You must have previous teaching experience and be able to work with a range of learners including some who may be challenging at times and some will have moderate learning difficulties. The role is full time, however we do offer part time and flexible working arrangements.

Applicants will be asked to undertake assessments during the interview screening process and will be required to demonstrate a level of competence, to qualify for employment within Nova Training.

**Essential Skills**:

- Previous experience in working with groups of young people with specific barriers to learning
- Relevant ESOL teaching experience.
- A Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
- Full Teaching Qualifications I.e. Cert Ed, C&G7407, CTTLS, DTTLS
- A Minimum of GCSE C grade or level 4 in Maths and English
- Excellent Classroom management skills.
**Desirable Skills**:
Experience of delivering training or supporting young people 14-19.
- IAG Qualification.
- TAQA Award in Assessing or Verifying.
- Have led projects involving young people.

**Contract**:Full Time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £30,000 pa (depending on experience & qualifications)

**Hours**:37.5 hrs per week, Mon-Fri
