HR Assistant, 30 Hours Per Week

The overall purpose of the role is to provide effective HR administrative support, as part of the Company’s HR and Payroll function.
Main duties will include:
- To maintain correct, up to date employment records in the Company’s HR and Payroll software system, in strict compliance with Data Protection regulations.
- To provide effective and confidential support of HR related processes, including procedures for internal and external advertising and recruitment of staff, pre-employment checks, onboarding process, contractual changes, disciplinary, grievance and capability processes.
- In liaison with HR and Business coordinator, assist in maintaining a log of uniform orders across the company, promptly alerting operations managers to any inconsistency or excessive ordering.
Successful applicants will have:
- Knowledge of codes of practice and operating procedures relevant data processing, data protection and confidentiality, and Data Protection related legislation including GDPR.
- Knowledge of employment regulations and HR procedures, in particular related to safe recruitment and selection processes.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £12.12 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
