**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Vehicle Diagnostics**: Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- **Fault Finding**: Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime for customers.
- **Car Repairs**: Perform a range of repairs, including brakes, clutches, suspension, exhaust systems, and timing belts.
- **Servicing**: Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, filters, and general vehicle health checks.
- **Customer Communication**: Explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide clear estimates to customers.
- **Workshop Maintenance**: Ensure tools and equipment are maintained, and the workspace is kept clean and organised.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Proven experience as a car mechanic in a garage or similar environment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in a wide range of vehicle repairs and servicing.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair) are preferred but not essential.
- A full UK driving license is required.
