We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated individual with a passion for childcare to join our team at Bruntsfield School Club. This position will predominantly be to support an individual child within the club on a 1:1 basis. Additional needs experience is preferential.
This position is School Term-Time only, 15 Hours, 4 days a week:
Working Pattern: Monday to Wednesday 2.30 pm to 5:45 pm and Friday 11:30 to 4:45 pm.
**Main Duties**:
- To ensure care plan/support plans are up to date and that all staff team are aware.
- Working as part of a team to plan appropriate activities and trips.
- Supporting child to access activities.
- Providing and promoting appropriate choice to child.
- Supporting with eating and drinking.
- Support with personal care (toileting, teeth brushing if required).
- Use of appropriate communication supports.
- Following implemented behaviour plans and support strategies.
- Ensuring the child is integrated with the group.
- Attending child planning meetings/meetings with external bodies as required
