**Are you looking for an accounts role with a high profile company? Do you have experiece of billing or sales ledger? This fantastic company close to Horwich with sites across the UK is looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team. Alongwith a starting salary of up to £23,000 the role comes with hybrid working (3 days at home each week), holidays that rise to 25 days plus bank holidays over time, pension, free parking, healthcare and a staff discount scheme.**
**What will you be doing as a Billing Assistant**:
Working as part of the finance team you will providing support with regards billing for work carried out. Duties will include:

- Dealing with bill amendments, triggering of final bills and processing write offs on a daily basis
- Assisting with the despatch of bills to clients using a variety of methods
- Manual updating of the system and the manual processing of fixed fee bills
- Ensuring that bills are generated promptly in line with client guidelines,
- Investigating reasons for any bill discrepancies and take such steps to reduce the cause of such errors
- Liaising with the companys fee earning community and other members of staff

**We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience**:

- Experience in a Billing Assistant or Sales Ledger role or possibly an Accounts Assistant with good experience of sales ledger
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using Word, Excel and Outlook

**What will you get in return for your work as a Billing Assistant**:

- A salary of £18,000 to £23,000, depending on experience
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 25 days after 2 years
