**Salary**:£35,627 with potential to rise to £39,585 over 3 years**

NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a **Capital Finance Team Leader** to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first and to deliver against our strategic objectives.

We are seeking an experienced **Capital Finance Team Leader** who will be responsible for leading the operational admin team to ensure the end-to-end transaction of all purchases and sales through the £135m capital fund are executed accurately and to implement, lead and continuously improve processes.

**Every day you will **
- Work within established systems to deliver prescribed outcomes for a designated area of financial control.
- Help others get the most out of data management systems by providing support and advice.
- Extract and combine data to generate standard reports.
- Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring issues to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice.
- Identify, within the team, instances of noncompliance with the organisation’s policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these instances and escalating issues as appropriate.

**What skills will help you thrive in this role?**
- At least three years of experience of managing and leading an administration team in a similar role.
- The ability to resolve complex queries and escalate issues appropriately.
- An understanding of capital finance, fund replenishment and transaction processing.
- The ability to extract, combine and interpret financial data to generate reports.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
