We have a band 4 Associate Practitioner opportunity available within our Orthopaedic Trauma Therapy team. We are looking for applicants who are dedicated yet flexible in their approach and possess the aptitude to adapt quickly to new situations. Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team in an acute / community or outpatient setting will be beneficial.

This is a 7 month fixed term post 37.5 hours per week with a 7 day working pattern

**To provide support within the acute therapy Service by**:

- Assisting in the rehabilitation of patients who have undergone surgery.
- Assisting in the facilitation of a safe discharge from hospital.
- Contributing to the assessment of therapy needs as initiated by the Registered Therapist.
- Carrying out therapeutic interventions and programmes of more complex patients under the guidance of the Therapy Team.
- To assist with the assessment and provision of equipment in the community.
