Report Writer

A well established and growing Financial Planning organisation with offices in the Watford area are looking to add a Trainee Paraplanner / Report Writer to their highly impressive team.

You will be responsible for creating financial planning recommendations in a way that is understood by our clients whilst meeting regulatory requirements all from a busy and dynamic office.

You will work with the Financial Planners to provide and produce regulated financial advice reports to clients on all areas of advice and predominantly across investments and pensions.
Other key areas of the role are:

- Follow the businesses procedures thus ensuring that the business risk is kept to a minimum.
- Quality check reports for self and colleagues as required.
- Able to provide and produce reports in the planning areas for the range of products the Personal Wealth Advisers give advice on.
- Effective administration as required, monitor and carry out regular designated procedures accurately and promptly.
- Ensure validation and correct input of information onto relevant systems.
- Take responsibility for incoming enquiries, requests and instructions from internal/external clients and provide a timely response.

You will ideally be working towards Level 4 - Diploma in Financial Planning/Regulated Financial Planning, and will have a strong understanding of financial planning principles from within a similar role. You will be a good communicator who is keen to support and work within a collaborative team.

This role is ideal for a strong Financial Planning Administrator who is looking to move into a trainee paraplanning role or someone doing basic report writing now but looking for a step up in responsibility, technical work and be given full exam support too.
