**Salary: £15.00 per hour**

**Hours: Full Time to be worked flexibly between support and team leader responsibilities. Job share may be considered.**

**Holidays: 28 Days per year (pro rata)**

**Full driving licence and car required for this role**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a team leader worker to join our team in Boston Spa area and work alongside both the support and management team in providing quality care and support to the person we support.

You will be working in a team supporting 1 individual in their own home that has been adapted to meet their needs. You will need to be a hands-on leader as you are required to spend a portion of your time actively working as part of the team. We are looking for a team leader that is flexible and that can cover a variety of shifts including days/evenings and weekends.

Experience of support work and previous team management is desirable, however if you have the right knowledge and skills and are looking for the ‘next step’ in your career this could be the position for you. You will be working alongside another team leader within the service and will share your skills, knowledge and responsibilities between you both.

**Key Tasks**
- Provide leadership and support to the team
- Manage Rotas and ensuring sufficient cover is available
- Approve and manage staff leave
- Ensure timely submission of timesheets
- Support in creating a person-centred care plan ensuring that lifestyle choices are clear and promoting independence
- Undertaking person centred care plans and reviews
- Support the team with supervisions and appraisals
- Ensure training and compliance is kept up to date
- General support on a day-to-day basis
