We are urgently seeking an experienced and skilled**Project Manager** to be responsible for delivering projects to time, budget, scope and quality in accordance with the definitions agreed with the sponsors for one of our large transport clientsbased in London E20.

The**Project Manager**will be responsible for planning and managing non-complex projects with a value of up to £20m using a delivery methodology and governance structures to ensure delivery of intended business benefits. They will be responsiblefor the day-to-day management of project governance, reporting and control structures, with issues, risks and decisions escalated through the agreed current Governance arrangements.
They will agree major project requirements with the Project Sponsor / Contract Manager; identify and manage any interfaces and dependencies between the assigned project and other ongoing network activities/projects and prepare and manage a project implementationplan, including responsibility matrix, detailed programmes and cost and resource plans.
Within agreed authority levels, they will negotiate, procure and authorise all project contracts and variations and approve and authorise all payment to meet value for money criteria; provide effective performance and development management responsibilitiesfor any direct reports, with regards to appraisals and performance management.
- Proven experience in full life cycle Project Management
- Professional qualification in Project Management e.g APMP or Prince2
- Good knowledge and understanding of project control tools and techniques.
- Good understanding of project and programme management methodologies and processes.
- Good understanding of Risk/Opportunity and Issue Management, Health & Safety Management and Budgeting and Cost Management
- Good knowledge and understanding of project budgeting, procurement processes and contract management
- Understanding of various project and programme management methodologies and processes.
